DJI PHANTOM 3 standard

This is a great product. I bought it in the black Friday sales and got it within 2 days. The setup was very straight forward, thanks to the many helpful review and youtube tutorials. The documentation that comes with it is pretty sparse, but not bad if you supplement it with sources from the web.

So I did a lot of research on what drone to buy. I ended up going with the Phantom 3 Standard due to US government regulations: you can't fly more than 400 feet in the air or make your drone beyond your line of sight, which made it unnecessary for me to buy a super high-end drone if I couldn't use it to its full extent. So I just needed something with a decent camera and good control. My Phantom 3 arrived on time and I love it.

The camera on the Phantom 3 Standard is amazing. I can take a picture of my house from 400 ft. and put the micro sd card in my computer and enlarge the photo and see individual blades of grass on my lawn! I can not imagine what the camera on the Professional model can capture! If you are debating whether or not to spend the extra money on a Phantom I would encourage you to go for it. You will never look back!

I've owned the Phantom 3 for about a month now and I couldn't be happier. I ordered the drone new and it shipped fast and was in pristine condition. In the box, you get what is expected (drone, props, ect.). Thanks, Whelow!

I have had my Phantom 3 standard for about a week now and have flown about 15 flights. This is a fun "drone" to fly. Pretty easy to learn the flight controls and basic camera controls. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I have had mine for about 6 months, My son bought a Phantom 3 pro and I got to see how great it worked but I decided to go for the Standard Model as the concept of making huge files with a camera proves to be a bad idea... unless you are doing this for professional purposes. I have been in the video business for 30 years and can tell you that quality pictures is way more about the lighting and such and not much about the standard of the camera.

Easy to fly and awesome performance.I have had this for a few days now and wanted to wait before I left my review. I can honestly this thing is awesome. The video is amazing and it is so simple to fly. I have only flown it around the neighborhood but I have gone up as high as 400 feet with no issues. I love it!

This is an excellent drone for the money. It is my first drone and plenty for me to handle. It has a beginner mode that keeps you within a relatively safe, close perimeter so you get comfortable piloting before exploring further or higher. I was a little concerned about the limits of this drone, but they are far from what I expected. The altitude and distance it can reach are more than enough, and what is most amazing is how steady this drone is.
